Jack Sprat's Pedigree
(click underlined names to see photos - note you will NOT see a hand
cursor.)
Jumpin Jack Sprat was imported in utero in 2003. When our mare foaled
out we knew this boy was going to be something special. THE TOP of HIS
BREED. At one day old he had enough feather to cover his entire little
hoofs. He was also a bright bay, it’s actually a blood bay
but it looks like chestnut, with black on the points. He never got dark
or faded. He like our late Sweeper mare carries the Agouti Gene which
limits black to the points so you can create tri colored foals. We had
intended to keep him to breed this color scheme but with the loss of
our mare we have decided to sell him. He is perfect in so many ways.
Traditional size, loads of feather, correct conformation and dream
temperament. As a weanling he was so much fun. He has the personality
of a family dog and loves to be loved.. We actually considered a
request to export him back to England by a well known breeder of Gypsy
Cobs! He is what they are breeding for today and he has the foundation
bloodlines to boot. He is offered at an incredible price. Browse the
internet. You won’t find a horse of this caliber for this
price anywhere. Most of the high quality weanling colts are priced in
this range. He is ready to breed this YEAR. He has been started in
harness and his price will INCREASE as training progresses. Get into
contract now and we will put the next 30 days on him for free or take
him home breed him and send him back to finish off his training. He is
offered for $14500.00 Sprat is up to date on shots, worming, etc.
Shipping included within 150 miles of Reno. Don’t wait,
spring is here! Look at his sire and dam. WOWZA, you can see where he
gets it!
Sprat
has some of the greatest of the great foundation bloodlines in his
lineage.
Names you will see as the foundation of breeding programs in ALL the
registries. Names like The Old
Horse of Whales, The Midget Mare, and Bob the Blagsdon Horse. Again
good
breeding is HARD TO MISS. We put color at the bottom of our breeding
program but
he has that too. He is tri colored with a blood bay coat and a black
and white
mane and tail. This coat pattern is less common than the most common
black and
white and adds an exotic look to the horse. We can’t wait to
see this boy in
harness and working. Our horses don’t just breed; they work,
which goes a long
way toward proving their abilities in the field, the show ring, or
driving down
the road! He has the temperament of a family dog, and follows you
around the
field for attention. Sprat most likely will not be available to outside
mares but if you are really interested drop us an email and we will be
happy to
explore your inquiry.
